Me and Noah

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
- Margaret Mead.

So Why Start Cleft Mom?

Once I found out Noah would be born with a cleft lip and palate I was desperate to find another living, breathing mom who I could talk too. Web pages, groups and books just weren’t cutting it for me. I felt like I needed someone to connect with. Someone who would understand completely where I was coming from and how I felt. I was blessed to be introduced to another mom who was due with a little girl 4 months before Noah was due. Meeting her changed everything. Suddenly I had another mom who was familiar with all the terms. She could help me on this road! We could do it together. My hope is to be a help to other parents out there who are just starting this journey and just want another parent to talk too. I love to help others; it’s something I am passionate about. I have met so many fabulous cleft moms over the last few years. They are some of my most treasured new friends. We share a special connection that bonds us in a different way.
